Hurlbut Hired as American Chianina Association CEO

December 27th, 2021|

The American Chianina Association is pleased to announce the hiring of Dustin Hurlbut, as Chief Executive Office. Hurlbut previously served as the ACA Director of Marketing/Western Field Representative.

Dustin was raised on his family’s Angus and Simmental ranch near Raymond, South Dakota and worked beside his father and grandfather to initiate a spring bull sale to help market their cattle. He continues his involvement on the family ranch and is raising his family on the same land he grew up on.

Dustin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer, breeder and association relationships. His experience as field representative has instilled in him the importance of visiting with Chianina breeders to learn their needs and then assist them in marketing their cattle.

As CEO, Hurlbut will work closely with ACA staff and the Board of Directors to continue to move the Chianina breed forward and serve the Association’s members. Hurlbut assumed the duties of CEO on December 20, 2021.

Hurlbut and his wife, Jeana, reside in Raymond, SD with their two daughters, Bayler and Mattie.
